Churva

A colloquial Filipino slang used as a filler word when someone can’t think of the exact term they want to use or when they want to be vague or playful. It’s similar to saying “whatchamacallit” or “thingamajig” in English.

Example:

Puwede bang ipasa mo yung churva diyan sa mesa?
Can you pass me the whatchamacallit(churva) on the table?

Hindi ko maintindihan yung mga churva na sinabi niya.
I can't understand the stuff(churva) he said.
