Daks

A Filipino slang term derived from the English word “ducks” but has evolved in its meaning. In colloquial use, it often refers to something or someone that is large, impressive, or significant, commonly used to describe a person’s physical attributes, particularly their genitals. It can be considered informal and somewhat risqué.

Example:

Sabi nila si Bogs ay daks.
They say Bogs is well-endowed(daks).

    A colloquial term often used to describe someone as unattractive or unkempt. It can also imply someone is acting foolishly or in a disagreeable manner.

    Example:

    Ang tukmol ng itsura niya ngayon, hindi man lang nag-ayos,
    Huwag kang umasta na parang tukmol, magpakatao ka naman.

    He looks so unkempt(tukmol) today, he didn't even bother to groom himself.
    Don't act like a fool(tukmol), behave yourself properly.

    Refers to a romantic partner or someone’s boyfriend or girlfriend. It’s similar to the more formal term “kasintahan.”

    Example:

    "I was with my boyfriend/girlfriend(uyab) at the movies yesterday.
