Amams

A term used affectionately to refer to one’s mother. It’s derived from reversing the syllables of the word “mama”.

Example:

Pinagluto ko si amams ng paborito niyang adobo.
"I cooked amams her favorite adobo.

    Derived from the word “idol”. When someone calls another person “lodi”, they are expressing admiration and respect for that person. It’s a term of endearment used to refer to someone you look up to or admire.

    Example:

    Petmalu talaga ang performance mo on stage lodi!
    Your performance on stage lodi is truly exceptional!
